These drawings are quite big and are comprised of thousands of tiny lines. Needless to say, things are moving along very slowly.

I will post clearer images upon their completion.

More stuff!

Delia Kovac and I made some drawings together last summer. She set up an Etsy store where you can buy some of the work we did with one another:

I am participating in this project:

Feminist Playing Cards is the latest project of Homoground, a music website that promotes visibility for minority musicians. The deck will feature custom illustrations of 52 feminist musicians drawn by 14 feminist artists. Be sure to watch the video to see a few samples of the artists' work. The artists involved are:

Emily Henderson, Andrea Rae Georgas, Ramsey Beyer, Lauren Denitzio, Liz Prince, Marissa Paternoster, Clare Brown, Jacki Sullivan, Brandi Lee, Cristy Road, Ginny Maki, Citizen A, Tressa Patten and Kay Kelley.

These cards are being created RIGHT NOW. So keep checking back to see the progress of the cards and new reward levels as we get the project rolling!

The goal of $12,000 is the least amount we need to produce and manufacture the cards. The more money we raise, the more we will be able to do (T-shirts, Art shows, etc). And the sooner we hit the goal, the sooner the you'll be able to see the finished deck!

I will be drawing Edith Piaf, Patti Smith, Exene Cervanka, and Liz Phair.

Here are some songs I have been listening to a lot lately:
